Flying Fish Chalet

Flying Fish Chalet was architecturally designed and built in 2002 on 16 acres of regenerating bush on the edge of Tryphena Harbour. The Chalet is set back 100m from the sea to maximise sun, shelter and privacy. A couple of minutes walk to a small sandy beach, 2 boat ramps and mooring area. Flying Fish Chalet has been designed for a family with young children and is open plan, with no seperate bedrooms, comfortably sleeping a family of 5. A large lawn area provides space to pitch tents - up to 20 people have stayed here. The perfect spot for fishing, diving, watersports and entertaining with a great outdoor eating area, a wood fired oven, open fire and gas barbeque. Great fish cleaning area complete with wood smoker for those successful fishing trips. The bach is a lovely 20 minute walk or 5 min drive along the harbour edge to cafes, restaurants and shops. A large herb garden and young orchard with lemons and limes is available most of the year for guests use.
